PragerU: Why would Big Tech censor doctors who might have a treatment for COVID-19?

LOS ANGELES — Footage of Dr. Stella Immanuel, along with many other doctors speaking at the White Coat Summit in Washington, D.C., is being censored by Big Tech social media companies including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Linkedin and Squarespace. The live summit footage received over 15 million views online before Big Tech colluded to simultaneously censor it. In some cases, Big Tech companies even suspended the accounts of big platforms sharing it, such as PragerU’s Facebook page, which had its distribution forcibly reduced for “repeatedly sharing ‘false news.’” PragerU has heard from many people who’ve said their posts of the doctors’ video were pulled by social media platforms.

“In the middle of a pandemic, Big Tech should never suppress the voice of frontline doctors who have direct experience treating thousands of COVID-19 patients in America,” said Marissa Streit, CEO of PragerU. “It leads one to wonder whether it is being suppressed for political or financial gain? Why would big tech censor the voices of doctors?”

The doctors in the video are part of a coalition of 600+ medical professionals who signed a letter emphasizing that Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) has been unnecessarily politicized as a treatment option for COVID-19. According to their medical experience, including research papers and hands-on treatment, a protocol of Hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and (basic antibiotic) Zithromax has successfully treated many thousands of patients without adverse effects.

Dr. Immanuel passionately implored America’s medical community to wake up to the effectiveness she and other doctors have experienced with the Hydroxychloroquine treatment.

These American doctors shared how a massive disinformation campaign by conventional media personalities and institutional health authorities has unnecessarily caused lockdowns, suffering, economic hardship and massive casualties.

Dr. Simone Gold, recently featured by PragerU, also spoke at the Summit. “There are always opposing views in medicine,” Gold said. “Treatment options for COVID-19 should be debated, and spoken about among our colleagues in the medical field. They should never, however, be censored and silenced.”

PragerU, which Streit says “is about the truth,” is no stranger to Big Tech censorship. YouTube, a subsidiary of Google, has restricted over 200 PragerU videos and has labeled them as “dangerous” or “derogatory.” PragerU is currently appealing decisions in state and federal courts in its First Amendment lawsuit against Google/YouTube.

“When tech giants work together to push one controlled narrative by censoring information, they are not only killing free speech but chipping away at the liberty which we all cherish as Americans,” Streit said.

The white coat summit doctors also warned the public that “If Americans continue to let so-called experts and media personalities make their decisions, the great American experiment of a Constitutional Republic with Representative Democracy will cease.”

PragerU has launched a national petition against Big Tech censorship and in support of the doctors.
