Ahead of Christmas, PragerU gifts the truth: new mobile app, television and streaming platforms that teach core American values

December 07, 2021

LOS ANGELES — PragerU has launched brand-new online streaming platforms, allowing users to easily access free, educational content from anywhere. Just like Netflix and Hulu, individuals can download the PragerU app to a mobile device or Smart TV using Apple TV and Roku. The online streaming media network continues to help young people understand the truth and core values that shaped America.

“Just 10 years ago, PragerU was essentially a YouTube channel and Facebook page. Now its own media network — PragerU is redefining how people think about media, education, and impact,” said Marissa Streit, CEO of PragerU.

PragerU is developing its own infrastructure and diversifying its platforms to provide greater independence from Big Tech, helping PragerU remain the megaphone for patriotic voices. Families across America can now download PragerU’s Smart TV channels (for free) and watch from the comfort of their own homes. PragerU’s free mobile app, which allows viewers to take PragerU with them wherever they go, has millions of views each month.

To announce the new streaming services, PragerU has created a new Christmas-themed national ad campaign promoting the organization’s mobile app, smart TV and streaming services. The ad, which is a parody of Clement Clarke Moore’s famous “A Visit from St. Nicholas” poem, features a stereotypical American “couch potato” who achieves intellectual enlightenment after a miraculous Christmas Eve visit from George Washington. The ad encourages viewers of all ages to think better and live better by watching free PragerU content on the PragerU mobile app, on television and online. The ad will run nationally during FOX News Channel shows such as “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” “Hannity” and “Gutfeld!”.

For 10 years, the nonprofit media powerhouse has educated and empowered young people around the world, reaching more than 5.5 billion views. PragerU’s 2021 annual report shows that 70% of college-age people have changed their mind on an issue after viewing a PragerU video. Currently, PragerU boasts over 13 million active social media followers on sites like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, and over 2 million active email subscribers.
