eCommerce Customer Service Representative (Los Angeles)

The eCommerce Customer Service Representative (based in our Los Angeles office) will respond to customer inquiries, process and ship orders. They will also support the Development team with calls and projects as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide EXCEPTIONAL customer service that is fast, friendly, and helpful for PragerU store and donor merchandise membership program

  • Data and database support, using Excel and Google Docs & Sheets

  • Assist with packing and sending store orders and donor club welcome packets

  • Run store and donor reports

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, billing, and technical problem notifications

  • Understand order processing business rules and how they relate to processes/ systems

  • Creating shipping and receiving documents and shipping labels (USPS, UPS, and Fed Ex Ground label) for shipping team

  • Ensure all information from the sales department and order processing department match the shipping department and accurate

  • Handling system inventory and inventory adjustments

  • Contributing to new and effective ways to help the office and warehouse move smoother

  • Process returns and product complaints

  • Issue credits and adjustments to consumer orders

  • Perform other assigned projects and functions as directed by management

  • Make outbound calls to confirm RSVP for donor events or confirming donor information for returned mail or orders

  • Respond to PragerU info emails 

Requirements: 

  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Docs (Sheets and Excel)

  • Shopify experience is a plus!

  • An aptitude to function within deadlines while working both independently and within a team is essential

  • Experience writing simple correspondence such as emails, letters, and chat, in a concise and professional manner

  • Pleasant and professional phone manner

  • Must be a team player that can work independently and effectively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

  • Motivated, self-starter, organized, and effective communicator

  • No fear of getting on the phone with customers and donors
