The Digital Asset Specialist will manage the lifecycle of all creative digital assets, including photography, artwork, video, social content, etc. across the company with emphasis on capturing, tagging, organizing, distributing, and archiving assets. Will work closely with the PragerU Design, Production, and Marketing teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer the day-to-day operations of PragerU’s Digital Asset Management system using Canto
Define, implement, and manage the full life-cycle, archival, and distribution of all digital assets
Establish and maintain file-naming conventions and metadata standards across multiple digital asset categories
Support team with critical and time-sensitive digital asset acquisition requests
Train and onboard new users to the DAM system and assist with questions from existing users
Requirements:
2+ years of digital asset management experience working with an enterprise-level DAM system
Experience working with Canto, Airtable, and Slack platforms highly preferred
Experience and clear understanding of metadata schemas and taxonomy development, file-naming conventions, and database reporting
Deep knowledge of image, video, and audio encoding formats and industry best practices
Experience in DAM migration and consolidation
Clear understanding of file conversions
Great verbal and written communication skills with experience working across multiple teams
